What does it cost?
Arranging a funeral service is very personal and costs can vary significantly depending on what is involved. However, at our initial meeting we will provide you with a close estimate based on what is discussed.
There are generally four main costs associated with a funeral.
These are:
- Professional Service Charge – fees which include planning and coordination of funeral arrangements. Mortuary Transfer- includes all mortuary care of the deceased and transfer from place of death
- Coffin or Casket – a very individual choice with prices dependant on construction, colour, quality, finish and style.
- Cemetery or Cremation Fees – as set by the individual cemeteries and crematoria.
- Disbursements – these are the costs that we pay on your behalf and include things like advertisements in the paper or on the radio, clergy and church costs, doctors’ fees, death certificate fees, flowers, organist & vocalist fees, catering and service booklets.
