Mr Basil James Close

Passed away peacefully on Sunday 31st July 2022 at Calvary Riverina Hospital Wagga Wagga. Much loved husband of Maureen (deceased). Devoted father and father in law of Leanne Close, Wendy & Charlie Horne, Cheryl & Ron Richards. Cherished Grandpa to his 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Survived by his loving sister Sally Robertson and all extended family and friends. Late of ‘White Lodge’ Memagong.

An Anglican service to celebrate Basil’s life will be held on Monday 8th August 2022, in St John’s Anglican Church Young, commencing at 11.00am.
The cortege will then leave for the Young Lawn Cemetery.
Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at the church to the Prostate Cancer Support Group of Young and Careflight.
