Mr John Derek Heywood better known as Duke

Passed away peacefully on 16th April 2023 at the Canberra Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Much loved partner of Gill. Devoted father and father in law of Cindy McGarry & Robert, Craig Heywood (deceased), Michael Heywood & Los, Chris Heywood (Fonz) & Lily.
Cherished Pop of Krystin, Emma, Brittany and Nicholas. Loved brother of Barney, Brian (deceased), Trish Stadtmiller and Peter. Sadly missed by all extended family and friends.

A Catholic Prayer service to celebrate Duke’s life will be held on Monday 24th April 2023, at St Anthony’s Catholic Church Harden, commencing at 11.00am.
The cortege will then leave for the Murrumburrah Lawn Cemetery.
Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at the Church to Harden-Murrumburrah Branch of CanAssist in memory of Duke.
For those unable to attend Duke’s service, it will be viewable via the livestream link on the Patterson Brothers Funerals website.
