Passed away peacefully on 19th April 2026 at the Young Hospital. Much loved husband of Betty (deceased). Beloved father and father in law of Michael & Nadine, Col & Lea. Cherished Pop to Kate, Abby, Dean and Margaret and sadly missed by their families. Late of Byrne Close Young and formerly of ‘Kia-Ora’ Milvale.

A graveside service to celebrate Wal’s life will be held on Wednesday 29th April 2026, at the Young Lawn Cemetery, commencing at 11.00am.
