Mr William John Eastlake known as Bill. Passed away peacefully on 8th September 2026 at the Young Hospital surrounded by loving family. Beloved husband of 72 years of Leila. Devoted father and father in law of Alison & John (deceased) Gilbert, Gilly & Mark Bryant, Joy & Andrew Lemon and Mandy & Craig Rogerson. Cherished Grandad of grandchildren James, William, Tom, Pip, Edward, Polly, Chelsea, Hayley, Cameron and Lucy and great grandchildren Anthea, Penelope, Zac, Jasper, Chloe, Tj, James, Abigail, Henry, Matilda, George, Alice, Mark, Lachlan, Laurent, Edward, William and Evie.

An Anglican service to celebrate Bill’s life will be held on Friday 18th September 2026, at St John’s Anglican Church Young, commencing at 11.00am. The cortege will then leave for the Young Lawn Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
