Mr Michael Peter Giuliano

Passed away peacefully 16th January 2026, formerly of Young.
Michael was born on 19th May 1936, the youngest of seven children to Vincent and Lillian Giuliano and after attending the local Christian Brothers College he joined the staff of the Young Witness newspaper which was owned by his father. Michael was an accomplished journalist and photographer. After two decades with the newspaper the family moved to Melbourne to follow other pursuits. He married Janet Batkin and they have two children Gabi and Lisa, three grandchildren and two great children.

A Memorial service to celebrate Michael’s life will be held on Tuesday 17th February 2026, at the Currumbin RSL commencing at 2.00pm AEDT (3.00pm DST).
