Mrs Maria ‘Pixie’ Elizabeth Martens

Passed away peacefully on 11th September 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Much loved wife of Barry. Devoted mother and mother in law of Matthew, Libby, Andrew & Brooke, Elecia & Brett, Michele & Ross, Bernie, Lucy & James, Abby & Phil. Adored Nanny Pix to her 20 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Loved sister and sister in law of Gai & Larry, Cork (deceased) & Barb, Liz, Paul & Eileen, Julie & Pete, Virginia, Kate, Michele & Greg, Charlie & Anne, Noel, Cath, David ‘Friday’, Rhonda, Paul & Tanya. Sadly missed by extended family and friends. Late of Lansdowne Street, Young.

A Catholic Mass to celebrate Pixie’s life will be held on Friday 19th September 2025, at St Mary’s Catholic Church Young, commencing at 11.00am.
The cortege will then leave for the Young Lawn Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at the service to the Young Branch of Can Assist in memory of Pixie.
