Mrs Patricia Margaret Smith also known as Pat, Trish and Poppy

Passed away peacefully on 28th August 2026 at the Canberra Hospital surrounded by loving family. Beloved wife of Stan ‘Sambo’ (deceased). Devoted mother of Marguarete, Melissa, Andrew (deceased), Nicholas and Matthew and sadly missed by their partners. Cherished Nanny of Isabella, Hunter, Elizabeth (deceased), Daniel, Grace, Lachlan and Ryan. Loved sister of Bill Grounds (deceased), Terence Grounds, Greg Grounds (deceased) and Kerry Hardy. Sadly missed by all extended family and her many friends.

A Catholic Mass to celebrate Patricia’s life will be held on Wednesday 16th September 2026, at St Mary’s Catholic Church Young, commencing at 11.00am.
The Cortege will then leave for the Murringo Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
