Mrs Valerie Jean Owen

Passed away peacefully on 16th December 2024 at Mercy Care Centre Young. Much loved wife of John. Devoted mother and mother in law of Matthew & Jo-Anne Capel and Marnie & Simon Langfield. Cherished Ma Ma and Grandma of Jack, Jonty, Sam, Kai and Inka and sadly missed by the extended Owen family. Much loved sister of Joy Bargwanna and Alan Hilder (deceased). Sadly missed by extended and friends.
Valerie’s family would like to extend a sincere and heartfelt thank you to Dr Fiona Gleeson, Professor Tara Mackenzie and David Hamblin for their care of Valerie.

An Anglican Service to celebrate Valerie’s life will be held on Monday 30th December 2024, at St John’s Anglican Church Young, commencing at 11.00am.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Following the service, Valerie will be taken for private cremation.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at the service to Mercy Care Centre Young in memory of Valerie.
